PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation processing device capable of controlling a timing to properly executing conversation guide when user's subjects of conversation has run out.SOLUTION: Disclosed conversation processing device includes: a recognition section 11 that recognizes a speech made by a user; an extraction section 12 that extracts an independent word from the speech; a measurement section 13 that measures the number of extracted independent words; a determination section 14 that compares the measured number of independent words and a reference value and determines whether or not the number of the independent words decrease using the compared result; and a conversation subject guide section 15 that, when determined that the number of the independent words has decreased, executes conversation subject guidance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
