Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a converter apparatus and a DC stabilized power supply unit using the same and improve their thermal stabilities by improving the mounting efficiencies of a saturable reactor and the peripheral parts thereof.
SOLUTION: In a converter apparatus, there are provided a saturable reactor SR for control pulse-form signals outputted from a transformer T according to its magnetic flux reset quantity, a rectification/smoothing circuit (output circuit) 13 for rectifying smoothly the pulse-form signals after passing them through the saturable reactor SR, and a control circuit 18 for keeping an output voltage of the converter apparatus constant, by detecting an error between the output valtage and a reference voltage, and feeding a reset current corresponding to mount the error to the saturable reactor SR. The saturable reactor SR and the control circuit 18 are mounted on an auxiliary board which is different from a main board for mounting the transformer T thereon to this auxiliary board on the main board.
