Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve focus precision at focusing by improving the detection precision at zooming.
CONSTITUTION: A detector 35 detects the movement quantity of a variable power lens to output an analog signal 37a. A differential amplifier circuit 39 amplifies the analog signal 37a for each of predetermined three blocks respectively to output three amplifier signals 47. A CPU 36 sends a selection signal 36a in response to a level of the analog signal 37a, inputs one of the amplified signals to a multiplexer circuit 41, a digital signal in response to the amplification signals 47 is read via an A/D converter 43 to decide the movement quantity of the variable power lens.
