PURPOSE: To widen the possibility of variation of combination print by an arrangement wherein a line transfer cylinder carries out an auxiliary print function for transferring to a first rubber cylinder regardless whether a printing machine is used for collect printing or offset printing.

CONSTITUTION: Two rubber cylinders 4, 7 of a printer 1 and the rubber cylinders 4, 17 of a printer II push each other at the offset printing position of a printing machine and they are separated from each other at the collect printing position. At the offset printing position, conversion cylinders 8, 18 carry an offset printing plate provided with superposed multicolor lines which are transferred from the conversion cylinder to the second rubber cylinders 7, 17 thence to the first rubber cylinders 4, 14 before being transferred onto a sheet. At the offset printing position, a collect printing cylinder 5 is inked directly by the second rubber cylinders and multicolor collect print lines are transferred to the first rubber cylinders 4 through a line transfer cylinder 6. The printing cylinders 10, 20 of an auxiliary single color printer transfer auxiliary print lines to the first rubber cylinders 4, 14 through the line transfer cylinders 6, 16 thence to a sheet.
