Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the higher harmonic ripple of output currents by flowing fly- wheel currents to load when the supply of currents is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:In a power converting device formed by bridge-connecting transistors and diodes in reverse-parallel with a DC power source, two transistors (TR1, TR4) or (TR3, TR2) are conducted when supplying load currents, every one between two is conducted alternately and fly-wheel currents are flowed to load through the transistors and the diodes D1-D4 when interrupting the feed of currents, and the transistors are at OFF and the fly-wheel currents are regenerated to a power source through the diodes when polarity is inverted. Thus, when conduction in the fixed direction, the supply of currents and the fly-wheel currents are repeated in the load currents and current ripple can be decreased because the fly-wheel currents flow when the transistors are at OFF.
