PURPOSE: To perform conveying control by determining a conveying direction with tabled terminal information and only a route branch point by a conveying controller relating to a conveying carriage of applying terminal information, guided to a terminal by a branch command from the conveying controller, so as to determine a branch direction by a conveying control process.

CONSTITUTION: Terminal information is applied to a conveying carriage 5 in a conveying carriage departure/arrival station 6a to start the conveying carriage 5 fed. The terminal information of the conveying carriage 5 is fed to a conveying controller 1 in a branch unit 4a, and a branch direction is decided in a feed branch information table to give a branch direction command relating to a branch control unit 3a. In also a branch unit 4b by a similar method, terminal information of the conveying carriage 5 is fed to the conveying controller 1, to decide a branch direction in a branch decision table, and a branch command is fed to a branch control unit 3b to guide the conveying carriage to the terminal information. In this way, a device can easily correspond to changing a conveying route by extending the branch unit, and an economical system can be constructed.
