To reduce the burden on an operator due to model changes of a container 31 due to changes in the size of articles CT to be conveyed, and make easier the size changes of the articles CT.SOLUTION: A conveyance device includes multiple movable modules 20 each having a container 31 that is movable on a circulation path 10 and can be loaded with articles CT and driving force supply means 913 arranged at a predetermined position SP0 in the circulation path, the container has a pair of article gripping members 311, 312 configured to be able to move relatively close to or away from each other, a reciprocating mechanism 313 that moves the article gripping members close to or away from each other and driving force acquisition means 317 that receives driving force from driving force supply means and transmits the driving force to the reciprocating mechanism, and with the movable modules, at predetermined positions in the circulation path, the distance between the pair of article gripping members of the container is adjusted to suit the size of the articles by the driving force supplied from the driving force supply means to the driving force acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
