Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock a wheel to prevent its rotation around a caster shaft when inverting.
SOLUTION: A conveyance device is provided with a rotary lock mechanism 17 having a lock ring 19 which is concentrically fitted in play into the caster shaft 12 of a caster 6 to fix it to a vehicle body 3 and in which a pair of lock channels 19a are formed at an interval of 180 degrees on an outer peripheral face, a swing lever 21 supported pivotally on a support frame 13 of the caster 6 so as to swing, a lock pin 20 provided protrudedly in one end part of the swing lever 21 to engage with each lock channel 19a and disengage from it, and a spring 22 which fits the lock pin 20 into the lock channel 19a through the swing lever 21. A guide roller 28 provided in the other end part of the swing lever 21 rides on a guide plate 34 provided on a side of an end part of a rail 2 to swing the swing lever 21 against a spring 22 so that the lok pin 20 is separated from the lock channel 19a.
