To improve a carry efficiency.SOLUTION: A carrier system 1 comprises: a plurality of carrier vehicles 30 each capable of carrying an object to be carried from a transfer station 41; a system controller 60 that controls the plurality of carrier vehicles 30; and waiting points 50 that are provided correspondingly to the transfer stations 41 and where the carrier vehicles 30 can wait, wherein: the system controller 60 grasps exit of one of the carrier vehicles 30 at one of the waiting points 50; and based on the exiting of the one of the carrier vehicles 30, the system controller assigns a travel command to another one of the carrier vehicles 30 other than the one of the carrier vehicles 30, to the one of the waiting points 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
