PURPOSE: To make it possible to convey a passenger or the like along a group of guide paths on their upper surface by forming each step unit of front and rear parts possible to mutually turn holding an upper surface of the step unit to an equal plane and providing rollers supporting a load of the step unit and rolling on the upper surface of the guide path and a guide means performing a guide in right and left directions.
CONSTITUTION: A step unit 2 comprises two front and rear parts 2A, 2B connected turnably with each other. As a result, the step unit in a connected condition can be turned to right and left. These two parts, even when they are mutually turned, hold the upper surfaces to an equal plane, so that the surface acts serving as a road surface for a passenger or the like. These two parts provide rollers 201, 203 respectively supporting a load while a guide means performing a guide to either right or left direction. Consequently, the step unit 2 can be moved holding its upper surface always to the upper along a guide path curved in up-down and right-left directions.
