Abstract:
To suppress scattering of dust, generated from a transported article, to the periphery.SOLUTION: A belt conveyor 100 comprises a conveyor belt 10, a head pulley 20, a pair of skirt plates 40, a pair of seal parts 50 and a charge chute 60 for charging solid fuels SF toward a transporting surface. The charge chute 60 has a first length L1 in a transporting direction TD, and end parts 40a on a downstream side in the transporting direction TD of the pair of skirt plates 40 are arranged at positions apart from a center position in the transporting direction TD of the charge chute 60 by a second length L2. Tip ends part of the pair of seal parts 50 are in a state being brought into contact with the conveyor belt 10, and the pair of seal parts 50 are supported by fixed to the pair of skirt plates 40. End parts 50a on the downstream side in the transporting direction TD of the pair of seal parts 50 are arranged at positions apart from the center position by a third length L3, and the second length L2 and the third length L3 are twice or more the first length L1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
