Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device suitable for conveying a conveyed object such as a vehicle body after painted in a supported state by a pallet in a drying furnace or the like.
SOLUTION: The conveying device comprises horizontal path parts 6, 7 for pallet transfer of an inlet and outlet, and a pallet supporting and propelling means 10 mounted on an endless circulating and driving body 9 with an appropriate interval for circulating a specific conveying path 1 provided with an inclined elevating path part 3 on at least one inner side of both of the horizontal path parts 6, 7 for pallet transfer. The pallet supporting and propelling means 10 includes two front and rear pairs of pallet supporting tools 22, 23 for receiving two front and rear parts of a pallet P for supporting a conveyed object, and an engaging tool 24 for propelling for automatically engaging with the pallet P in a proximate position of the front pallet supporting tool 22. The pallet P for supporting a conveyed object fed in the horizontal path part 6 for pallet transfer on an inlet side of the specific conveying path 1 is received by the pallet supporting and propelling means 10, and is supported and conveyed in the specific conveying path 1 to the horizontal path part 7 for pallet transfer on an outlet side.
