PURPOSE: To make a feed rod and a feed claw drivable in a separate system each as well as to aim at stabilization in conveying operation and its high-speed promotion, by installing the feed rod, doing reciprocating motion, in the lower part between guide rails for a conveyed work, while also installing the feed claw rockably in this feed rod via a rotary shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyed work 4 is guide and supported by guide rails 5. And, in order to convey the conveyed work 4, a feed claw lifting rail 8 is made to go down, causing each feed claw 7 to be rocked forward, and a feed rod 6 is made to go forward after projecting a tip of the feed claw 7 from a conveying surface. According to this method, the feed rod 6 performs reciprocation alone and is driven by a separate system independent of an up-and-down motion in the feed claw 7 so that two movements in the feed rod 6 and the feed calw 7 can be regidly guided through bearings in a separate manner. Therefore, stabilization in conveying operation and its high-speed promotion are attainable.
