PURPOSE: To prevent flawing on the surface of a roll caused by a product and to improve the heat resistance by providing a bristle collected body made of a synthetic resin having a specified glass transition temp. on an outer circumferential surface of a conveying roll.
CONSTITUTION: The collected body of the bristles made of synthetic resins having ≥100°C glass transition temp. is inserted and held by a guttered metallic fitting 2, and this is wound around a circumferential surface of an iron core roll 3 from its end to the central part spirally in right hand side, next, wound and fixed from the center to the other end spirally in left hand side, and the end part of the guttered metallic fitting is welding fixed to the iron core roll 3 to make the conveying roll. By this method, even if the product has edges, the bristle is bent to relieve the stress, so that the roll surface is not damaged.
