Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize by heating without using any disinfectant by providing a heater which is arranged opposite to the surface of a conveyor belt, and heats the conveyor belt to sterilize the moving conveyor belt.
SOLUTION: When a conveyor belt 10 in movement is stopped by turning off a motor 18, a cylinder 24 is operated to close a lid 22 according to the stop signal of the motor 18. Temperature rise of a part of the conveyor belt 10 stopped opposite to the heater 20 is prevented thereby. When the work is started, the heater 20 is first turned on. When a temperature sensing sensor 26 reaches the set temperature, a lamp is lit, and informs a worker that the temperature of the heater reaches the set value, and the conveyor belt 10 is in the sterilizing condition. Lighting of the lamp is recognized by the worker, and the motor 18 is turned on. The cylinder 24 is operated based on the motor-on signal to open the lid 22. Sterilization can be realized by heating without using any disinfectant.
