To make a chain belt conveyor free from meandering movement by rolling either one of a pair of left and right rollers and rails with sandwiching the rail between left and right flanges of the roller and rolling the other roller on the rail by using a flange formed on one side of the roller.
Each of shafts 21 at specified intervals in a longitudinal direction of a chain belt conveyor has an extension and rotatably supports rollers 9, 10 through a spacer 27 and the rollers 9, 10 are rotatably placed on a pair of left and right rails 12, 13. The roller 9 is provided with left and right flanges 91 to be sandwiched between a top end of the rail 12 and the roller 10 is provided with a flange 19 located inside of the rail 13. The rail 12 is formed in a trapezoidal section shape corresponding to a peripheral groove 90 of the roller 9 and a non-contact space (S) is formed between the rail 12 and a bottom of the groove 90 of the roller 9. Thus, the chain conveyor can move straight along the rails even if the chain conveyor is subjected to influence of thermal expansion due to temperature in a furnace.
