In a conveyor type dishwasher 1, the conveyor device 20 which conveys a rack 4 in a washing room S has a pair of first right and left conveyor rails 21 which extend along to a right and left pair of rack rails 2 extending in the conveying direction, a pair of second right and left conveyor rails 22 which extend along to the right and left pair of rack rails 2, and a drive means 23 for reciprocating the first and second right and left conveyor rails 21 and 22 so that the moving direction of the first right and left conveyor rails 21 and that of second right and left conveyor rails 22 are opposite each other. Each of the right and left conveyor rails 21 and 22 are provided with sending claws 24 and 27 which project from the top portion when forwarding and withdraw when moving backward.
