Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the sliding of the underside of a lead frame on the top face of a guide rail and the damage of the underside of the lead frame when the lead frame is fed on the guide rail at pitches in a conveyor for the lead frame used for a die bonding device, etc.

CONSTITUTION: In a conveyor for a lead frame gripping the sides of a lead frame 1 on guide rails 4, 5 from upper and lower sections by an upper pawl 18 and a lower pawl 20 and feeding the lead frame 1 at pitches, a projecting section 20a for slightly floating the sides of the lead frame 1 from the guide rails 4, 5 under a gripping state is protruded from the lower pawl 20. Accordingly, the lead frame 1 is floated from the guide rails 4, 5 and fed at pitches, thus preventing the sliding of the underside of the lead frame 1 on the top faces of the guide rails 4, 5 and the damage of the underside of the lead frame 1.
