To prevent accidents such as explosion and burning in a cooker performing the cooking by performing the heating by high-frequency wave while performing the cooling by an evaporator of a refrigerating cycle where a combustible refrigerant is circulated.
This cooker comprises a heating means 36 for heating cooking ingredients stored in a cooking compartment 21, the evaporator 35 of the refrigerating cycle using the combustible refrigerant to cool the air in the cooking compartment 21, and an air blasting means 37 for circulating the air in the cooking compartment 21. The evaporator 35 comprises a cooling plate 24 with a fin 26, buried in a heat insulating wall 22 composing the cooking compartment 21 in a state that a surface at a fin 26 side, is exposed into the cooking compartment 21, and a refrigerant pipe 25 of the evaporator 35 is closely kept into contact with the cooling plate 24 heat-exchangeable with the cooling plate 24, and buried in the heat insulating wall 22. Accordingly, the refrigerant hardly flows in the cooking compartment 21 even when the refrigerant leaks, and as the leakage of the refrigerant is slowed down, the occurrence of accidents such as explosion and burning can be remarkably reduced.
