PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress oxidization of oil without adding an antioxidant or the like.SOLUTION: A cooking method of storing oil 21 in an oil storage tank 20 installed inside a device body 10 and cooking food materials 1 using the oil 21, includes the steps of: introducing superheated steam to the inside of the device body 10 to reduce oxygen concentration in an inner atmosphere of the device body 10; heating the oil 21 in the oil storage tank 20 by a heater 30; and inserting the food materials 1, via an upper surface opening 11 formed on the device body 10, to the oil storage tank 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
