To provide a cooking support system capable of showing a cooking method according to the constitution of a cooking instrument to a user by informing a cooking support apparatus of the information of available cooking instrument and carrying out a cooking support by using the function of each cooking instrument.
This cooking support system is constituted of the cooking support apparatus and the cooking mechanism. The cooking mechanism is equipped with a cooking instrument notification means to output the cooking function of its own. The cooking support apparatus is equipped with a menu input means to input a cooking menu, a cooking instrument information acquisition means for acquiring information of the information of available cooking instrument, a cooking order memory means to memorize a cooking order, a cooking order formation means and a display means for indicating the cooking order. The cooking order formation means searches a cooking data base memorized in the cooking order memory means from the inputted cooking menu and the acquired cooking instrument information and forms a cooking order suitable for the constitution of the available cooking instrument.
