Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the NOx purifying capacity of a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas by enhancing the support amount of the metallic active sead on a porous material.
CONSTITUTION: A catalyst agent wherein a metallic active seed is supported on a porous material and an acidic binder are slurried so that a slurry is made basic. For example, by adding aqueous ammonia to the slurry, the slurry is made basic. By gelling the slurry under heating, the visicosity of the slurry is adjusted.
