Abstract:
PURPOSE: To utilize heat absorption due to the dissolution of water and cool food for achieving a state suited for drinking and eating by accommodating a substance for absorbing heat when it meets water between a non-metal external container and a metal inner container, filling water into the lower portion of the external container, and providing a means for opening a water container. CONSTITUTION: A non-metal external container 1 and a metal inner container 2 are placed at an upper portion liquid-tightly, a substance 3 for absorbing heat when it meets water is accommodated between them, and water 4 is filled into the lower portion of an external container 1 and a water container 5 being sealed by a lid material 51 is mounted. A projection 7 is provided at the center of the bottom part of the water container 5 as a means 7 for opening the water container 5. When the projection 7 is pressed and breaks through the lid material 51 of the water container 5, the water 4 flows out and dissolves the heat-absorbing substance 3, and temperature decreases due to heat absorption, thus cooling food 6. A plastic molding is used for the non-metal external container and an aluminum can is used for the body of the inner container. Also, one type or at least two types being selected from ammonium nitrate, sodium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, and urea are used as the substance that absorbs heat when it meets water.
