PURPOSE: To easily perform a high temp. extraction and a low temp. extraction from one cooling bed by making the end part of sending side of the cooling bed to be a sloped part and providing 1st and 2nd transfer devices capable of lifting at a taking out part of that sloped part to transfer to a conveyor.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of high-temp. extraction, a lifting chain transfer 7 is lifted, and the upper surface of the chain is positioned at a higher place than the upper surface of the fixed rack 2 on a horizontal part 1B of the cooling bed 1 and to cross with the fixed rack 2 of the sloped part 1A. A rolled stock to be cut at high temp. conveyed by an operation of the bed 1 is transferred from the sloped part 1A to the transfer 7, then transferred on a transfer car 9. A guide supporting frame 10 is lifted up to transfer on the transfer car 9 and transferred to a conveying roller table 8. As for the low temp. extraction, the transfer 7 is lowered, conveyed by using the whole area of the bed 1, transferred on the fixed type chain transfer 6, then transferred to the conveying roller table 8 by the transfer car 9.
