This cooling device for icemaker is constituted by providing the predetermined number of U-shaped tubes 10 formed by bending short tubes into a U-shape by letting their side tube parts 11 abut, covering two abutted side tube parts 11 with a cap 20 to communicate the side tube parts 11 mutually, providing branch tube parts 15 protruding sideways at the predetermined interval to form the steam generating tube, and inserting the branch tube parts 15 into each cell 32 of the ice-making vessel 30.
