Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device with a simple configuration capable of more appropriately confirming whether or not coolant is delivered than a conventional manner.SOLUTION: A cooling device includes: a heat reception part arranged so as to be directly or indirectly brought into contact with a cooled part; a heat radiation part for radiating the heat of coolant; a storage tank for storing the coolant; a circulation passage for circulating the coolant among the heat reception part and the heat radiation part and the storage tank; liquid delivery means for delivering the coolant in the circulation passage; inflow means arranged above the liquid level of the coolant in the storage tank for allowing the coolant to flow in the storage tank; a light source part for emitting light toward the liquid level of the coolant in the storage tank; a light reception part for receiving the light passed through the liquid level or reflected on the liquid level; and liquid delivery state detection means for detecting the delivery state of the coolant in accordance with a detection result by the light reception part.
