Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of an internal combustion engine which can reduce damage to a seal member in a water pump under a cryogenic environment.SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 of an internal combustion engine includes: a water pump 10 which circulates a coolant to a cooling path 110 of an internal combustion engine 100; a radiator circulation path 60 which circulates the coolant to a radiator 61; and a thermostat 70 which opens the radiator circulation path 60 when a temperature of the coolant is higher than or equal to a predetermined temperature. The water pump 10 includes a return pipeline 50 which connects a drain port 26 of a drain hole with the radiator circulation path 60 and returns a leaked coolant from the drain hole to the radiator circulation path 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
