Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency by injecting cooling liquid in a space part formed between one surface of a heat radiator main body which contacts a surface to be cooled and the opposite surface and bringing one surface of the space part into adhersion with the surface. CONSTITUTION:The space part 11 which constitutes a cooling chamber s formed in the heat radiator main body 10 in a rectangular frame shape. Both the surfaces and peripheral edge part of the space part are formed one stage lower than both surfaces of the radiator main body 10, and the peripheral parts of transparent glass plates 12 and 12 are installed and fixed on the stepped surface. Namely, both the surfaces of the space part 11 are covered with the glass plates 12 and 12 and the cooling chamber is formed inside. The cooling liquid is injected and charged in the space part 11. The subject cooling device is applied for the cooling of the liquid crystal panel of the liquid crystal projector and then the cooling efficiency of the liquid crystal panel is improved greatly. Consequently, the liquid crystal panel never damages owing to overheating and the light of a light source can be intensified enough to obtaining a bright projection image.
