Abstract:
To provide a cooling device in which degradation of cooling efficiency for a cooling target can be suppressed, and a projector.SOLUTION: The cooling device comprises an evaporation unit, a condensation unit, a steam pipe, and a liquid pipe. The evaporation unit has: a housing which is connected to the evaporation unit and into which a working fluid of liquid phase flows; a reservoir provided in the housing and storing the working fluid of liquid phase flowing into the housing; a groove provided in the housing and having a plurality of flow channels in which the working fluid changed from the liquid phase to a gas phase flows; a first wick provided in the housing, connected to the reservoir, impregnated with the working fluid of liquid phase, and conveying the working fluid of liquid phase to a groove side; a second wick provided between the first wick and the groove in the housing and conveying, to the groove side, the working fluid of liquid phase conveyed by the first wick; and an intermediate layer provided between the first wick and the second wick and filled with the working fluid of liquid phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
