Abstract:
To provide a method for operating a cooling device, a cooling device and a test chamber having the cooling device, by means of which a temperature reaching at least -80°C can be established with simple means in an environmentally friendly and safe manner.SOLUTION: A cooling device has a cooling circuit 11 comprising a refrigerant, a heat exchanger 12, an internal heat exchanger 19, a compressor 13, a condenser 14 and a controllable expansion element 15, wherein a temperature of -80°C or lower can be established at the heat exchanger by means of the cooling device. The refrigerant undergoes a phase transition in the heat exchanger, and the internal heat exchanger 19 cools the refrigerant of a high-pressure side 17 of the cooling circuit 11. The cooling of the refrigerant of the high-pressure side by the internal heat exchanger 19 is used for reducing an evaporation temperature at the expansion element, the refrigerant being a zeotropic refrigerant. A control device in the cooling device 10 controls the expansion element 15 to partially freeze the refrigerant during an expansion at the expansion element 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
