Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain cooling equipment which prevents effectively a sudden rise of pressure due to compression of a liquid and can raise the temperature of a body to be cooled and cool it again efficiently in a short time.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling equipment 1 has a compressor 2, a condenser 3, vapor- liquid separators 4, 5, 6 and 7, heat exchangers 13, 14, 15 and 16, expansion means 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 and an evaporator 18 for cooling a body 17 to be cooled and is put in piping connection by a refrigerant supply pipeline 19 and a refrigerant return pipeline 20. A plurality of kinds of refrigerants different in a boiling point are sealed in a refrigerating cycle. A bypass supply pipe 21 stretching from the discharge side of the compressor 2 onto the inlet side of the evaporator 18 is provided. A bypass return pipe 24 stretching from the outlet side of the evaporator 18 onto the suction side of the compressor 2 is provided. A storage tank 26 is connected to the bypass return pipe 24. The refrigerant supply pipeline 19, the refrigerant return pipeline 20, the bypass supply pipe 21 and the bypass return pipe 24 are equipped with on-off valves 22, 25, 28 and 29 respectively.
