Title:
COOLING AND HEATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0268466
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce power consumption and make the size compact and prevent the generation of noise by applying voltage gradually to a dipole derivative, reducing the pressure and cooling the temperature so as to use it as a cooling source, and applying the voltage gradually to said derivative and generating heat up to several thousands volt so as to use it as a heating source.

CONSTITUTION: High voltage, say, 6×103V DC voltage, which is determined by the thickness of a dipole derivative 13, is applied to electrodes 14 and 14. This dipole derivative 13 is subjected to dielectric cooling by gradually reducing the pressure by step by step or suspending the supply of electric power. To obtain heat by a heating device for heating and heat storage, application voltage is boosted from 0V up to about 6,000V with the lapse of time, thereby generating heat to the dipole derivative 13 and using the derivative as a heating source. During this operation, warm air can be obtained in stead of cooling air by using a semi cooling member 12 as a semi heating member.
