Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cooling lubricant which has no fear of forming nitrosoamine by using a specified salt of a predetermined compd. as an extreme pressure additive in a cooling lubricant.
CONSTITUTION: An alkaline (earth) metal salt of a compd. represented by the formula [wherein R2 represents a 1-20C alkyl, a 2-20C alkenyl, or a (substd.) 6-10C aryl; and R1 represents H or R2] is used as an extreme pressure additive in a cooling lubricant.
