Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cool a pyrolysis gas economically, effectively and surely by exchanging directly the heat of pyrolyzed oil obtained by condensing the pyrolyzed gas from the waste residues such as plastics and the heat of the pyrolyzed gas.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of cooling continuously a pyrolysis gas from waste residues containing plastics, rubbers or other hydrocarbons flowing through plural coolers, the pyrolysis gas of 400-1000°C is cooled by using pyrolysis oil having especially preferably 20-60°C of boiling points obtained from a second indirect heat-exchange type cooler 32 as a coolant used for a first cooler 10.
