Abstract:
To provide a cooling structure in a rotary electric machine capable of appropriately securing work efficiency in assembling a plurality of lead wires forming a coil with a flow passage pipe in which a cooling fluid flows.SOLUTION: A cooling structure in a rotary electric machine comprises a coil winding and a flow passage pipe. In the coil winding, a lead wire bundle configured by bundling a plurality of lead wires is formed. In the rotary electric machine, a rotor rotates by using a rotating magnetic field generated by application of a voltage to the plurality of lead wires, or a voltage is induced to the plurality of lead wires by a rotating magnetic field generated by rotation of a rotor. A cooling fluid flows in the flow passage pipe. The flow passage pipe is arranged on an outer surface of the lead wire bundle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
