In this cooling structure of the portable electronic device, a body part 1 provided with at least one heating element in an internal space 10a of a case 10 having side faces 110 and an upper face 101 specifying the internal space 10a together with the side faces 110, a display part 2, and an input part 3 are individually constituted and rotatably connected by at least one connecting part 4. The body part 1 has fans 14 for air-cooling the heating element, and the fans 14 forcibly generate an air flow inside the case through main opening parts 100a provided at the upper face 101.
