Title:
COOLING SYSTEM ALARM DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10222777
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide the cooling system alarm detection system which can securely detect trouble of a cooling system without requiring troublesome setting operation.

A cooling air speed is monitored by mounting a temperature IC on a card mounted in electronic equipment to detects a cooling alarm. This temperature IC includes a 1st IC 2 which has a temperature sensor inside and a 2nd IC 4 which has a temperature sensor and an internal heat generating resistance mounted on an air downstream side inside, and the 2nd IC 4 is equipped with an arithmetic part which calculates the difference between temperatures outputted from the 1st and 2nd ICs 2 and 3, an arithmetic part 10 which calculates the thermal resistance of the 2nd IC 4 from the heating value of the internal heat generating resistance of the 2nd IC 4 and the temperature difference, a storage part 13 for data on the correlative relation between the heat resistance and air speed regarding the 2nd IC 4, and an arithmetic part 10 which calculates the air speed by comparing the data with the thermal resistance.
