Abstract:
To surely avoid that temperatures of air ports or other ports of a black liquor recovery boiler and structures of a furnace wall in the vicinity are not raised too high in view of corrosion, temperature changes, cracking and tightness.
A cooling system for the air ports and the other ports in the furnace walls includes a cooling medium pumping system and ports provided with cooling medium piping or channels inside a metallic port material 2. The liquid flow generated by the cooling medium system cools the ports. The ports are formed of casting materials 2, and the ports are provided with a cooling liquid flow which passes in a piping or piping or channels inside the casting material of the ports.
