Abstract:
To improve earthquake resistance and facilitate maintenance such as installation and replacement of a filling material, in a cooling tower and a filling material unit.SOLUTION: A cooling tower comprises a housing provided with an air flow path along a horizontal direction and a cooling water flow path provided along a vertical direction, and a filling material unit arranged at a position where the air flow path and the cooling water flow path intersect inside the housing. The filling material unit has a casing having a pair of support plates, a partition plate spaced from the casing in the horizontal direction intersecting the air flow path between the pair of support plates inside the casing, and a filling material arranged between the pair of support plates and the partition plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
