This cooling unit 10 comprises a main body 37 having an inflow port 34 in which the combustion gas flows from an incinerator 2, and an exhaust port 32 for exhausting the combustion gas, and a plurality of air supply pipes 30A, 30B extending approximately in parallel with each other along the vertical direction in the main body 37 for guiding the combustion gas flowing in through the inflow port 34 to the exhaust portion 32, and a space S is defined in the main body 37 for filling the cooling liquid for cooling the combustion gas around the air supply pipes 30A, 30B.
