PURPOSE: To input coordinates just with a user's touch at a plate by providing a coordinate input part equipped with plural conductive lines running in parallel with each other and the plural conductive lines perpendicular to the former conductive lines and running in parallel with each other while being out of electrical contact with each other at the intersected points at normal time.

CONSTITUTION: A coordinate input part 10 consists of a non-conductive plate 1, plural conductive lines 2a arranged on the plate 1 and running in parallel with each other and plural conductive line 2b running in parallel with each other, perpendicular to the conductive lines 2a and arranged on the plate 1 so as not to be in electrical contact at the intersected points normally. Metallic foils 4a and 4b applied to the overall surface of the bottom part of the plate 1 comprise a pressure sensitive switch 11. In this case, the position on the plate 1 which is touched by the user's finger is indicated on a picture display device 14 and the user can easily input/output a coordinate value by modifying the input coordinate value and pressing the pressure sensitive switch 11 at the time when the value is found correct while watching the mark position on the picture display device 14. Thus, input and modification of the coordinates and processing instruction corresponding to the coordinate value can be easily executed.
