Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate position detection irrespective of a coordinate position of an indication body.SOLUTION: Light receiving sensors 11d, 11c detect light diffused from an electronic pen 13. An optical detection unit (left) 151 and an optical detection unit (right) 152 detect on the basis of light receiving outputs of the light receiving sensors 11d, 11c light receiving intensities and light receiving directions thereof. A light emission intensity determination unit 153 determines light emission intensity of the electronic pen 13 on the basis of the light receiving intensities detected by the optical detection unit (left) 151 and the optical detection unit (right) 152. A light emission intensity transmission unit 155 transmits the light emission intensity determined by the light emission intensity determination unit 153 to a light emission intensity receiving unit in the electronic pen 13. In the electronic pen 13, light emission intensity is controlled also on the basis of the received light emission intensity.
