Abstract:
To provide a coating composition capable of forming a coated film achieving both of flexibility and hardness, and a copolymer suitable as a component of the coating composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a copolymer (C) containing a constitutional unit derived from a macromonomer (A) and a constitutional unit derived from a vinyl monomer (b), in which SP value of the macromonomer (A), SP, and SP value of a polymer (B) obtained by polymerizing the vinyl monomer (b), SP, satisfy a relational expression 1.5≤SP-SP≤8.0, and glass transition temperature calculated by a formula of Fox of the copolymer (C) is 40°C or lower. There is also provided a coating composition containing the copolymer (C).SELECTED DRAWING: None
