To provide a multi-functional copying device by which a user can arbitrarily combine images to be formed on one sides of recording mediums and images to be formed on the other sides, in accordance with uses or the like by changing correspondence relations between images to be formed on sides of recording mediums and images to be formed on the other sides when both-side copying of forming images of documents on both sides of recording mediums.
In the copying device, image data of document images read by an image reader is distinguished into images to be formed on on sides of recording mediums and images to be formed on the other sides, and they are stored correspondingly to one sides and the other sides, and images are formed on both sides of recording mediums on the basis of stored image data, and correspondence relations between stored image data can be changed.
