Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce useless space in a copying machine and to realize inexpensive use of paper in the copying machine with double-sided copying function.
CONSTITUTION: A copying machine is provided with a circulating double-sided automatic original feeding device 160 provided with an original mounting table on which an original A is to be mounted, an original feeding means for feeding the original mounted on the original mounting means to a predetermined position for optical scanning, an original returning means for returning the original A fed to the predetermined position to the original mounting means, a means provided in the middle of the original returning means for transferring the original A to be returned after reversing it, and a paper ejection and transfer part 140 provided between an image fixing unit 6 and a transfer passage 22 for holding a paper on which an image is fixed and for feeding the held paper to the transfer passage 22 after reversing it, so that both sides of the original A are copied on both sides of the paper.
