PURPOSE: To automatically execute a perforation at a prescribed position of copying paper which has been copied, and to eliminate the need for executing the perforation by using other perforating device after the copying, by providing a sensor, a perforating part and a driving part.
CONSTITUTION: In case of executing perforation, a stopper 1 ascends and copying paper 10 whose printing has been ended is stopped by the stopper 1, and by a sensor 5X and 5Y, whether the copying paper 10 is in a prescribed position or not is detected. When it is detected that both the sensor 5X and 5Y are in prescribed positions, the perforation is executed by a perforating part 2. When it is detected that the sensor 5X is not in a prescribed position, the copying paper 10 is moved in the direction of X by a roller 31 of a driving part 3. When it is detected that the sensor 5Y is not in a prescribed position, the copying paper 10 is moved in the direction of Y by a roller 32. Thereafter, the position of the copying paper 10 is detected again by the sensor 5X and 5Y, and when it is detected that it is in a prescribed position, the perforation is executed by the perforating part 2. If it is not in a prescribed position, the copying paper 10 is aligned by the driving part 3, in accordance with a result of detection of the sensor 5X or 5Y.
