To provide a cord fixing apparatus capable of fixing cords having different diameters with the same fixing tool.

Horizontal flanges 1e are formed at opposite ends of a substantially inverted U shaped fixing tool 1, while a pair of screw holes 2c are provided in a base plate 2 on which the fixing tool 1 is mounted, an insertion hole 2a is provided in one side of the screw hole 2c and inserted into the flanges 1e, and a guide hole 2b is provided inside the screw hole 2c continuously with the insertion hole 2a for sliding vertical parts 1d of the opposite ends of the fixing tool 1. A cord 4 is held with the substantially inverted U shaped part. Both flanges 1e are inserted into the insertion hole 2a, and both vertical parts 1d are slid along the guide hole 2b. The tip end of a screw 3 threaded into both screw holes 2c is brought into close contact with both flanges 1e to mount the fixing tool 1 to the base plate 2.
