To create a cord which can be fixed in a required length and stretchability of required strength can be secured by utilizing both properties of stretchable property of rubber cord and property of rope having a definite load-resistant strength.

This cord is obtained by passing a rubber cord through a straw- like (cylindrical or bag-like) rope having a definite load-resistant strength. The straw-like rope is superposed on the rubber cord in a state in which allowance of the cord is sufficiently taken so as not to prevent stretchable property of rubber and both ends of the rope and the rubber cord are fixed.
