PURPOSE: To perform automatic telephone/facsimile switching required when one telephone line is shared with a speech purpose and a facsimile communication purpose.
CONSTITUTION: A master set performs the connection 206 of the telephone line when detecting a first call signal 205. The master set sends out an audio response 207 to the telephone line, and also, starts detection whether or not a CNG signal is sent from the telephone line. When the delivery of the audio response 207 is completed, the master set performs the radio connection of a telephone slave set, and rings a telephone call tone 208 of the slave set. When the off-hook of the telephone slave set is not performed even when the telephone call tone 208 is rung for the number of times set in advance, the master set sends out an audio response 209 to the line. After the audio response 209 is delivered, the master set performs the radio connection of facsimile slave equipment, and performs facsimile reception 210. After the facsimile reception 210 is completed, the master set performs line disconnection 211.
