PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set that offers excellent operational convenience to the user.
SOLUTION: A tone volume of a buzzer 28 for calling a slave set 2 (or a tone volume of a buzzer 16 for calling a master set 1) is set by remote control through radio communication from the master set 1 to the slave set 2 (or from the slave set 2 to the master set 1). A sound volume of a speaker 24 for a speech by the slave set 2 (or a sound volume of a handset 14 for the master set 1) is set by remote control through radio communication from the master set 1 to the slave set 2 (or from the slave set 2 to the master set 1).
